Medication ADD ADHD Success Stories
In our fifteen years experience as a therapist working with ADD ADHD patients we had over one thousand (1,000) patients who tried stimulant medications for the treatment of ADD ADHD.
In general, we observed that the medications were effective, especially with the cognitive problems of poor memory, poor concentration, poor organization, or being easily bored.
In general, low doses (about 0.3 mg/kg in children) worked well for these cognitive issues. Behavioral problems often needed higher doses (up to 0.6 mg/kg of body weight in children).
In general, we observed that the higher the dose, the more negative side-effects.
When prescribed at the optimum dose, we observed positive improvements in over 75% of patients who tried stimulant medications.
